Liz Ledden is a kidsโ€™ book author of quirky, fun and warm-hearted stories, based in Sydneyโ€™s Inner West. Her latest release is Everyone Wants an Octopus Book! illustrated by Makoto Koji and published by Hardie Grant. Itโ€™s a thought-provoking picture book highlighting that we all belong in stories.

Lizโ€™s picture book Walking Your Human is about the best things to do on a walk, according to some cheeky (and slightly delusional!) dogs. Itโ€™s been translated into Korean, and is also available as a board book. Tulip and Brutus is a picture book about a ladybug and a stinkbug who never play together, as they think theyโ€™re too different.

In addition to her books, Liz has contributed short stories to The School Magazine and Youkie magazine, and she co-hosted kidsโ€™ book podcast One More Page for its five-year duration. Liz lives and writes on Gadigal land, and loves travel, cafes, libraries, books and dogs!
