Alison McLennan is a Brisbane-based children’s author, singer, actress and voiceover artist.
She began writing stories when her children were little and is now the published author of several picture books, including Hotel For Bees, Growing Pains, Great and Small and Birdie Lights Up the World, as well as a junior fiction novel titled Calamity Jones: A Flamingo for Christmas.
She admits to being a terrible creative writer as a child, but adored reading and volunteering in her school library. She is now passionate about sharing her love of writing stories with the next generation of dreamers.
