Yvette Poshoglian is the author of over 60 books for young readers. She writes the bestselling juggernaut series Ella and Olivia, with a new phonics-based decodable reader series coming in December 2024.

Yvette also writes contemporary Australian fiction (Dear Greta) and has written historical fiction (Escape from Cockatoo Island).

Yvette is an experienced English teacher and consults to NSW Education on innovation, literacy and has run the NSW Premierโ€™s Reading Challenge. She has worked with thousands of young readers and writers across Australia and their parents, teachers and librarians to build literacy skills and develop a love of reading.
