Sonia Bestulic was born and grew up in Sydney Australia, enjoying a childhood filled with wonderful books, a passion for reading and a love of writing in its various forms.
She is an award nominated Author, with her debut Children’s picture book Reece Give Me Some Peace! being shortlisted for the 2019 Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year Awards.
Her second picture book is the beautifully sentimental, Kisses in Your Heart released in 2019.
Sonia is a mother of three, and Founding Director of Talking Heads Speech Pathology, the well-known, reputable Sydney based clinics established in 2006. She enjoys writing children’s book reviews for the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA); and hosts the popular educational podcast; Chatabout Children with Sonia Bestulic.
A long-term advocate for children’s health, wellbeing, learning and literacy, Sonia continues to regularly write and speak when it comes to all thing’s children. She has delivered countless presentations to parents, carers and professionals who work with children, and is passionate about human connection and positive social interactions.
