Liz Ledden is a kids’ book author of quirky, fun and warm-hearted stories, based in Sydney’s Inner West. Her latest release is Everyone Wants an Octopus Book! illustrated by Makoto Koji and published by Hardie Grant. It’s a thought-provoking picture book highlighting that we all belong in stories.

Liz’s picture book Walking Your Human is about the best things to do on a walk, according to some cheeky (and slightly delusional!) dogs. It’s been translated into Korean, and is also available as a board book. Tulip and Brutus is a picture book about a ladybug and a stinkbug who never play together, as they think they’re too different.

In addition to her books, Liz has contributed short stories to The School Magazine and Youkie magazine, and she co-hosted kids’ book podcast One More Page for its five-year duration. Liz lives and writes on Gadigal land, and loves travel, cafes, libraries, books and dogs!
