Tania Ingram is an internationally published author of children’s picture books, novels and poetry.  She has a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and prior to becoming an author, worked as a child psychologist.

Her first picture book, Dog on Log was published 2013 and was based on a game Tania would play with her toddler. She wrote her heartfelt picture book, Oma’s Buttons, after talking with her mother-in-law, who was born in a displaced person’s camp in Austria, during World War 2.

Other books include the rollicking Jinny and Cooper series; the first of which was shortlisted for the Speech Pathology award in 2016.

Aggie Flea is NOT a Liar! – the first book in Tania’s newest series – was released in September 2023. Tania modelled the character of Aggie Flea on herself as a child. Like Aggie Flea, Tania would often get into trouble because of her big imagination. She even once convinced several of her friends that her neighbour was an alien robot!

Book #2 of the Aggie Flea series (Aggie Flea Steals the Show!) will be released in March 2024, followed by a mid-grade novel, The Other Shadow, and a picture book, Walls, to be released July 2024.

Tania is an experienced presenter who is passionate about books and writing. In her spare time, Tania likes to read and craft and often sings to her chickens who pretend to be underwhelmed by her talent.
