Cate Whittle writes for children and young adults, and loves exploring fantasy worlds. Her stories have found their way into a variety of anthologies and magazines, and her Trouble series (about a troublesome dragon) is published by Omnibus Scholastic, as are Wyrd and Emergency Rescue Angel , with a further two books contracted.

Also a teacher, Cate has a passion for nurturing a love of stories in her students – as readers and creators. She lives with her family, a cat, and lots of wildlife in the bush near Canberra, and enjoys walking amongst the trees and dreaming up stories.
