Dannielle has been involved in the Australian publishing industry for over 20 years – first as a copywriter and then as an editor, project manager, proofreader and author.
She has worked on more than 100 non-fiction books and written about subjects as varied as vampires and knights. However, her first love has always been children’s literature. Some of the anthologies for which she is credited as a contributor include Once Upon a Whoops! Fractured Fairytales and Ridiculous Rhymes (Share Your Story, 2021), The Creative Kids Tales Story Collection 2 (Creative Kids Tales, 2019) and A Christmas Cornucopia (Christmas Press, 2019). In 2020, her kids’ poem ‘Hatastrophe’ was published in the Harry Potter-inspired Fire Burn, Cauldron Bubble: Magical Poems Chosen by Paul Cookson (Bloomsbury UK).
Dannielle is listed as an author on the Creative Kids Tales website, and she is a moderator for the Creative Kids Tales Network Facebook page. In addition, she is a children’s book reviewer for the Buzz Words website. Her children’s short story entitled ‘The Metal Monster’ was short-listed for the StoryLinks 2021 Short Story Competition, and her pitch for Lottie and the Littles: Birthday Surprise was awarded Third Place in the 2021 Just Write For Kids Pitch It! Competition.
